Mark Sparks is a young actor, an accomplished athlete, a comedic presence and an all around talent. He began his journey in the entertainment industry in 2006 after a successful but injury ridden sports career which he left with many accolades and awards including a national ranking and national championship. Always being one to act the fool he decided to take his natural ability and begin to mold under the tutelage of several great acting coaches, schools and great minds in the business. He has enjoyed growing in the industry landing actor and principal roles on a few projects including a series for TMN, CBS Paramount Network Television,  a mini- series for CBC, CTV, a film in the Reel Asian Film Festival, and several other independent films as well as national and international commercials.

In order to broaden his horizon and to create a brand and to be seen by women with his shirt off, he entered a modeling contest held by Calvin Klein and was able to edge out 1000's of contestants to become Calvin Klein's Canadian Man of Steel. He has walked the runway, posed for ads and magazine spreads and is now much less shy about walking around in public in his underwear. This new found comfort with his body couldn't have come at a better time as Mark was named the 4th Sexiest Canadian Male of 2008 by Entertainment Tonight and Ford Models Canada.

Outside of making people laugh and think, Mark Sparks is a personal trainer and lifestyle coach and developer of S.P.A.R.K.S Conditioning.  His approach in the gym mirrors his approach to life – Actions Not Word.  His clients benefit from his theoretical and practical background in fitness and his education and certification as a practitioner in Neuro Linguistics* as well as his goal oriented method of attaining results and his life experiences.

Mark Sparks also started Higher Level Youth Basketball Academy. The focus of H.L.Y.B.A is to inflate kids self esteem, by using sports as a vehicle to teach them the importance of focus, fitness and fun.
As athletic as Mark is, there are still a group of 8-12 year olds who regularly hand him the bitter taste of defeat each summer for the last 3 years during games of one-on-one. Mark has vowed to train hard this year in order to show the new group of participants who's boss next summer.
